Jeanne Fagan and Donald Zamperetti
Both Jeanne S. Fagan and Donald J. Zamperetti are well known to the tourism industry as well as education through their professorships of Tourism Management/Sports and Tourism Studies at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, New York. They both have extensive experience in the tourism industry. They are knowledgeable about the Erie Canalway, New York State and specifically the Finger Lakes Region. The necessary balance has guided their work between improving residents’ quality of life and creating sustainable economic development derived from visitorship.
They have over 42 years of combined experience in the tourism industry, they are co-founders and authors of Tourism degrees and courses at Finger Lakes Community College, areas of expertise include destination analysis, research, planning, marketing, management as well as event planning, marketing and implementation.
They have extensive experience analyzing model destinations and attractions throughout the United States and Canada and in-depth knowledge of visitor behavior and trends.
Don and Jeanne serve as principals for the Visitor Experience Institute, a division of Finger Lakes Consulting Group, LLC. The Institute was developed to assist organizations in addressing the development of marketing and management strategies and human resources necessary for the delivery of destination visitor experiences to support and enhance the economic impact from visitorship.
